- Manufacturing Day highlights manufacturing companies in the County and introduces students and educators to real-world applications for many of their classroom subjects. Expanding every year, the annual 1-day event has hosted over 300 students in 7 of the County’s major employers, exposing students to career pathways and local employment opportunities and highlighting the fine companies that call James City County home!
- ChefsGo1.0 is a new curriculum created in partnership with local chefs and the Historic Triangle campus of Thomas Nelson Community College. This innovative program will introduce students to culinary careers and place them under the mentorship of a local chef in preparation for future employment or additional culinary training.
