Fingerprinting Services

The Department provides fingerprinting services to County residents and employees of County businesses. 

Bring a government issued photo identification card and any fingerprint cards that have been provided to you.

Due to COVID-19, fingerprinting services are being offered by appointment only. You may call the Department at 757-253-1800 during normal business hours to schedule an appointment.

Those coming to the Law Enforcement Center for fingerprinting services should follow CDC guidelines and wear a mask or cloth face covering.


  • $10 for first fingerprint card
  • $5 for additional fingerprint cards
  • We accept check, cash (having exact change is highly recommended) and credit/debit cards (a 2.95% convenience fee will be added to all credit/debit card transactions).
