[ARCHIVED] Police Seek Identity of Fraud Suspect

18000698 - Attempt to identify

On March 2, an unknown male subject entered three Rite Aid stores in James City County and received refunds using fraudulent receipts. This incident is believed to be related to a string of fraud incidents encompassing multiple states and throughout the Hampton Roads area.

If you are able to identify this individual or know who may be involved in these incidents, please contact Investigator Bill Gibbs at 757-259-5164. You may also contact the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to the Crime Line may remain anonymous, do not have to testify in court and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if the information leads to an arrest.
